This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how All Network Security Inc., d/b/a 12Port, a Delaware corporation (“12Port,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares personal information through our website at www.12port.com, our documentation site at docs.12port.com, and any related online properties (collectively, the “Site”), as well as through offline interactions such as events, surveys, and sales inquiries.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the United Kingdom (“UK”), or Switzerland, please also review Section 10 (International Privacy Rights), which describes your additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and related laws.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Information You Provide

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including when you request a product demo or trial, submit a contact form, create an account, register for an event or webinar, subscribe to our newsletter or release notes, download content from our Site, apply for employment, or communicate with us by email or phone. This information may include your name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title, and mailing address.

1.2 Payment Information

If you purchase a subscription, we collect billing information such as billing name and address. We do not directly collect or store credit card numbers or bank account details. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors who are obligated to protect your financial information in accordance with applicable law.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain technical information using cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, date and time of visit, and general geographic location. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the Site, improve user experience, and maintain security.

The 12Port software periodically communicates with 12Port servers to verify license validity, check for available updates, and transmit aggregate usage metrics. This communication includes the license key, software version, and aggregate usage data. It does not include any customer data, credentials, session content, or personally identifiable information of end users. For more detail, see Section 2.5 of the End User License Agreement.

2. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use personal information for the following purposes:

To provide, administer, and improve our Site, products, and services. To process orders, deliver license keys, and provide customer support. To communicate with you about your account, orders, renewals, and service announcements. To send marketing communications, including promotional materials, event invitations, and product updates (you may opt out at any time). To conduct research and analytics to understand how our Site and products are used. To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems. To comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights. To evaluate employment applications and manage the recruiting process.

We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation for these signals.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention practices.

9.3 California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf. We will require written proof of the agent’s authorization and may verify your identity directly.

9.4 Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of other states with applicable privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others) may have similar rights to access, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of certain processing activities. 10. INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY RIGHTS (EEA, UK, AND SWITZERLAND)

This section applies to individuals located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and supplements the rest of this Policy.

10.3 Your Rights Under GDPR

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data; erase your personal data (the “right to be forgotten”); restrict the processing of your personal data; data portability (receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format); object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. 10.4 International Data Transfers

Personal data collected from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland may be transferred to our offices in the United States. When we transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, to ensure an adequate level of protection.

10.5 Automated Decision-Making

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you.

10.6 Supervisory Authority

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe we have violated applicable data protection law.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the effective date.
